RECEIVED A THANK YOU LETTER...

Dear Family in Christ,

Yesterday Olga and I received the note in the mail that really ministered to our hearts! Just wanted to share with you about what God does in the ministry! We give Jesus all the Glory and Honor!

...A few weeks ago I found out my sister was starting to take a turn for the worse in the battle against cancer.  About a week ago she became extremely disoriented so my brother in law had to get help.  She was moved into a hospital last Monday.  Since then she hasn't eaten and is bed bound.  To make a long story short she isn't expected to live much longer.

On Sunday morning I was down in the dumps. I came to service with my heart not in the right attitude.  I was questioning God which I should never do.  She is only 67 and has so much life to live.  My heart ached. From the moment I came through the church door my brother James greeted me and I felt so much better.  I sat in the chair without much emotion and prayed to the Lord and asked just why?  Once worship started I felt so much better.  Just through the worship I was refreshed. My wife Cathy was in the nursery taking care of little ones so I sat with James and Roslyn and felt so at home.  Jeff's worship team blessed me over and over again reminding me He did everything for me.  That every moment is under His control and I could be at peace with the outcome.

Then I was blessed to hear my brother Igor teaching the Word. I was encouraged because I know I will get to share the gospel at the funeral.  When I don't know but after spending Sunday with my sister I feel it won't be long.  Our God is perfect as I was reminded by the worship Jeff and His team sang.  By the words my brother Igor shared with us, encouraging us to run the race.  To share the gospel with those who don't have a personal relationship with him and be a mouth piece for the Lord.  We are at times timid in sharing our faith. I was blessed and reminded it is not by my ability but by the Holy Spirit. I realize today that making ourselves available to share to the gospel is what matters…

God bless you and thank you so much for allowing the Holy Spirit to work through you.
Blessings,
Bob Munro
