Productive Bible Study Seminars in Severodvinsk
Olga and I want to give a huge thank you to all who prayerfully and financially supported our ministry here in ICM Russia. It is because of your gracious support that we were able to send a team to the New Life Church in Severodvinsk to teach a level one Inductive Bible Study seminar, December 14-19. It was a blessed time of fellowship of the Holy Spirit and study of God’s magnificent Word. We were inspired by the 120 people who came to the seminar, eager to learn how to study the Word of God. This is what some of them shared about how God worked in their lives:
Tatyana –
I am grateful to the Lord and ICM for this life-changing seminar. I have been a believer for only a year and this seminar helped me learn how to interpret the Holy Scripture, and to begin to understand the Bible better.
Valentine –
All glory be to the Lord for this opportunity to experience his love and care for the church, and those lost by ignorance. He has given us the chance to understand and fall more deeply in love with the Word of God, and to increase in the knowledge of the truth that sets us free. Our God is never late and sends his help on time!
Tatyana –
I personally liked the seminars. The teachings showed ways to deeply research and study the Word. Studying the various book types has helped me realize the role of prophecy on my own life. I have received the answers of my heart that have been available in the Word. My husband and I are very grateful.
Maria Avdushina –
The seminar was very simple, good, and clear. We have understood how necessary it is to reflect and dig into the Word. May thanks!
Shulgin –
I thank ICM- Russia for coming over and the five wonderful evenings I was able to hear the interpretation of God’s Word. I have learned to understand the Bible more deeply, and even my problems at home have seemed to be put behind me. I have understood what a wonderful and loving God we have.

The seminar has showed me how to study the text of the Bible in a new way. I would like to have seminars like this more often!

I am very grateful for the seminar! I was not just good doctrine, but is has given me a strong base for my independent study of the Bible. I was even more convinced by the seminar how strongly God wants me to know him personally.

I am grateful to the Lord for this teaching. I eat it up and satisfied my spiritual thirst. I received a deeper understanding of God’s Word. The truth was revived as though something was stirred up inside me by the Spirit. The word was revived and has come alive. I can’t even put into words what I received these last few days. The IBS material is very understandable, simple, and powerful! I am delighted to learn that there is so much just lying in the Word, waiting to be discovered. I have fallen in love with the Word in a new way.
As you can see the seminar was a great success and it was exiting to have all the participant of the seminars ask us to come back again. Pastor Alexander has asked us to come again next year and do the second level seminar.
