EQUIPPING THE SAINT IN ROVNO, UKRAINE ON MARCH 2-4

Dear Partners and Family!

Thank you so very much for your prayerful and financial support you have sent our way in the month of February! Olga and I are writing to let you know that Igor Polishuk, Eugene and Natasha Zharov made it back home from their missions trip to Rovno, Ukraine where they taught an Inductive Bible Study Seminars at Hosanna Church safe and sound! Pastor Vladimir Lanevich loves the Word of God, he invited us to come and bless the church with this life-changing course! The guys arrived on March 2 in the evening. The church received them whole heartily and with arms wide open! Eugene had been friends with Vladimir for ages! We started seminars on March 3 at 10 am. About 36 participants showed up that morning to study the IBS principles. The Church did a great job preparing the way for us! We got a great room, some church people prepared hot meals for us, cookies were there on the tables during the coffee breaks! People were tremendously receptive, hospitable and showed us love of Christ every day as we were taking them through the assignments! The seminars were very fruitful! People were hungry for the Word! They loved discussion groups as well! 

First day was really full!. Eugene said they had got to the apartment late at night, tired but satisfied with what God had done for the students of the Word during the first day of the seminar. Next day, Eugene preached Sunday service at Hosanna Church. He spoke from Mark 6:34-52 " Feeding of 5000" (as it turns out this was a chapter for that as a part of an annual plan for Bible Study at the church). Many people came up to ICM guys after the meeting and thanked Eugene for Word! The team prayed for healing and restoration in God. The Lord was present at that meeting, one could feel the presence of the Lord physically and He confirmed His presence by touching people and healing them. 

After lunch, the guys continued the seminar, and the emphasis had been put on how people can do Bible studies in their homes. ICM guys talked about home groups dynamics and formulating inductive questions to lead Bible studies. Igor equipped and trained church leaders how to lead Bible Studies with the help of inductive questions. He put an emphasis on teaching through the Bible in the church. More leaders and believers showed up to the seminars after the rumor had it that the guys teach the Word in the power of the Holy Spirit! Again the guys did discussion groups so that the participants had a taste of what they want to do at their Bible Studies. It was very gratifying to see how those who had never preached from the pulpit, got rid of their fears and came up to the pulpit and shared their messages in front of the participants! The time flew by! There were some people from Lvov and Ternopol and we were able to make new friendships and we might be able to do an IBS in their churches in the nearest future. At the end of the seminars people shared about what God had done for them at the seminar and thanked ICM for IBS tools that we brought and blessed the church with. 

We are so greatful God for this beautiful opportunity to come to Rovno, bless the saints there and be used in the Kingdom!!!!
