SERVING RUSSIAN ORPHANS DURING CHRISTMAS

Dearest Ministry Partners, 

As you may remember from our previous communications, Abner, Nelly, Olga, Nate and Sveta, Katya and other volunteers from Light of Hope Church go to two orphanages to share the Gospel with orphans and try to meet their material needs every month. 

On January 8th, the team visited these two orphanages to  celebrate Christmas with the kids there. Olga and Alla, two sisters from the children’s ministry at Good News Church joined out team to go to serve the orphans this year. They put together a very good program with different games and skits, all teaching the story of Christ’s birth. It was a good fun time! Then we blessed the children with Christmas gifts.

CHRISTMAS CELEBRATION AT LIGHT OF HOPE CHURCH

Dearest Friends, 

Olga and I are writing to let you know that Light of Hope Church is doing real well! We would like to thank you all for your prayerful and financial support you sent in to help us plant this "beautiful rose of God"! We are blessed to report that God is taking good care of the congregation! The saints celebrated Christmas this year in an entirely different way! It was great fun! The Russian Christmas is on the seventh of January, so for our Sunday service, on the eighth, we had a Jesus's Birthday Party! Abner gave a message about Jesus’ birth and what it means for this world! It was awesome! Then the fun began!!! I will let the pictures tell the rest…
