Productive Bible Study Seminars in Stepanovo

Dear Partners and Friends, greetings in the name of Jesus! Olga and I pray that you are healthy and enjoying your summer! We also pray that you are doing exactly what the Lord has for you and that he is blessing that work.Now the summer is here in Russia, it is rainy and also cold this year. Or should I say the cold turns up a bit. We were born and raised here therefore, we have an idea of how this weather works!! Cool and Rainy!!! It also means school is out and there is time to prepare for the next school year starting in September. Last year we started getting ready in August and God was faithful to provide with enough funds for the orphans and street children; He lead the way and we know there was much fruit from our time teaching the Truth in orphanages and a shelter. Some of the fruit that we found out about came from others visiting the country. Pastors Dan Steen, Lewis Smyth, Rob Anderson and others has been coming with teams to help us fulfill the task that the Lord had entrusted unto us. This last week was a very busy week! ICM Team had done an IBS in Stepanovo, Russia. Alex Alexandroff went to teach the course to a New Light Church. Eugene Goldobin, the pastor of the church invited us to come bless his church with this life-changing course! More than 70 people came to the rehab center the church planted several years ago to participate in the seminars! It is with a great pleasure I look at this young couple I watched grow up now serving the Lord as missionaries! They are our dear friends and we are proud of them. Praise God! Alex and Luba has been a blessing to us thru the years. Dearest Friends and Partners, May the Lord bless you and thanks to all for your love and support of this ministry. Helping orphans and street children in Russia

On another note: school got out about three weeks ago for summer break for our kids at the shelter. These guys are a bit slow and had to study a bit longer but that’s okay! Now Olga Petrushova and other members of our team finished with tutoring and helping street children do their homework. Every one of us mentioned that it was such a blessing to be able to work with the kids and see their little faces light up every time they would understand the material; eager and excited to learn. It is time to rest now. Olga, the director of the shelter that ICMinistries Russia heavily support spiritually and financially, went camping with the children… they had so much fun!!!! Five more children not in the picture… but they were there for the program where they learnt how to read the Bible and apply it practically in their lives. It is always worth it all to be a part of their lives and see so many of them who didn't know anything about the Lord, start reading their Bibles and praying to the Lord! It is a huge blessing! My wife Olga and I enjoy every year watching them progress. All our kids in the shelter and orphanages are full of hugs and telling us how much they had missed Olga and me when we are on our missions trips. I wrote them a week ago that we'll see them around this summer so they were happy. Orphanage principals are very appreciative and thankful for us being there for the children and invite us to come and minister to them when school starts up in September. We have been given an open invitation to come and walk kids to their schools as being parents to them. As we come we share from the Word and give each and every kid a gift with all the school supplies he/she needs during the school year. God has been so good to us giving us funds to buy the best quality school supplies for all the orphans and street children for the last seven years!

IBS in Tsimlyansk, Russia

Dear friends and family in Christ:

Hope you will enjoy our July update! Thank you once again for your continued prayers and support as we journey together on this great adventure with our Lord Jesus Christ here in Russia.

A week ago Alex and Luba Alexandroff had the privilege to come teach our Productive Bible Study course at the Revival Church of Tsimlyansk, Russia. On the same week, just days before the seminar, their summer rains hit. At first we thought people were not going to be able to come to the seminar, but God worked it out and they did come and enjoy the course.

What a blessing it was to see young home Bible study leaders and children ministers and other church leaders to come together for training and see God move hugely in the hearts of these folks. “I think one of the most fun highlights for us was watching people being set free by the Word and dancing before the Lord with huge smiles and laughter, coming to him in that child-like faith during worship!” – Alex said.

At the close of the seminar, Alex had students come up and testify about what God had done in their lives during the time of training. What an awesome time of celebration it was in praise to our Lord after everyone was blessed by testimonies. All Glory and Honor be His!
