PRAISE REPORT FROM OUR CREW IN RUSSIA

Dear Friends and Family of God,

Abner pastoring Light of Hope Church

Olga and I just got off the phone talking to Abner this afternoon. He says hello to all of you who pray for us and support ICM of Russia! Abner shared his heart with us saying that everyone is doing well and growing in the Lord. Olga and I were very blessed to hear that some people we know who backslid in the past returned to the Lord and joined Light of Hope Church lately! There has been some resistance to sections of scripture that reveal incorrect doctrines, which have been widespread through the church in Russia for a long time, but over all people are growing in faith and a sound doctrine. For that, we praise the Lord! Abner has a strong burden to free people from the religion and legalism that has bound the Russian church. From his early days at ICM of Russia Abner strongly believed in the power of the Word! Since Abner works a job and pastors, he has asked Nate to take turns with him teaching on Sundays. So, Nate and Svetlana will gladly step in!

Home Bible study group in Cherepovets

On Tuesdays Nate and Svatlana have been teaching a home group I teach while Olga and I are in Russia. I started teaching through the Book of Acts last June and the group is still going through the book. So much there in the Book of Acts! The home group is held at the apartment of Nelya and Sasha Borisov. We have seen the gradual affect that solid Bible study has had on them. Those that come regularly have a hunger for the word awakened in them, and they have become more confident in their faith. 

On Sundays ICM guys teach through the Book of Colossians! God’s word is moving forward! Hallelujah! Olga and I pray for our crew with no ceasing asking God's leading and direction as they serve God's people in Russia. We are interested to see what is going to happen in the ministry as we advance the Kingdom of God in Russia, Ukraine, America and to the ends of the Earth!

Olga and I are very interested to see what is ahead as we travel and do ministry in America. Our desire is to be able to finance at least one seminar a month in Russia and assist Light of Hope Church Cherepovets, Light of Hope Fellowship of Anisimovo, Light of Hope Shelter for the street children as much as possible! 

Please pray our monthly income to increase and more people and churches to partner with us to meet the expenses of ICM of Russia.

Olga and I are very grateful for those who have supported us in prayer and financially the past nineteen years and we are excited to see what the Lord has in store for 2012.
